Zork: The Undiscovered Underground is an absorbing text-only prequel to the new Zork Grand Inquisitor. You can download the game from an Infocom fan site (318 KB). The reader interface for the game runs under Windows 95.

A hint page is available from the Zork area of Activision's web site if you visit the Telegraph Office, zoom in on the file cabinet and click on the upper (closed) drawer.

Note: If your lamp goes out, shake it to bring it back to life (worth 5 points the first time you do it)
