Our K'nex offshore oil rig model isn't actually in the ocean, but this
view gives it an appropriate perspective. Note the thick, tapered platform
supported by a trio of sturdy towers. An irregular outline for the platform
and numerous pieces of equipment on top gives the rig a realistic appearance.
